Saray Cisneros Cody was born in Colón, Panama.  She moved to Shelby, North Carolina at the age of 8.  She attended public schools in Shelby and received a Paralegal Technology Degree from Gaston College and a BA of International Studies, with an emphasis in Latin American Studies, from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.

She resides in Shelby, North Carolina with her husband and two young children.  Her mother and some extended family live nearby.  She enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with her family.

She is employed by Attorney Verna Bash-Flowers as a Paralegal working on Personal Injury cases, bankruptcies and Immigration cases.
